Volunteer Homepage
Welcome to the Nutrition
and Behaviour Unit volunteer homepage. The
Nutrition and Behaviour Unit is a research group at
the University of Bristol in the Department of Experimental
Psychology. We are currently looking for volunteers to take part in
research studies exploring the psychological processes underlying food choice
and dietary behaviour. To conduct this research we
require people who are willing to give up their time to come to the
department to be tested as participants in experiments.
Who can take part?
Anyone! Male/female, dieters/non-dieters, underweight/normal
weight/overweight/obese etc.
How would you benefit from participating?
You would be contributing to leading scientific research. Participants
are usually reimbursed with free food, with some studies providing cash
payment for participation (typical rate £10 per hour*).
